FaulknerBrowns were appointed to provide architectural services under The University of Sunderland's consultant framework in 2006. Our roles are to provide support and continuity at a strategic briefing level, helping to identify and define potential development projects, to provide masterplanning services, to provide full architectural design services and to act as design team leaders.
Over the last five years, we have been extensively involved in the redevelopment of the University's City Campus. This has included the identification of strategic priorities for development in conjunction with stakeholders including the University executive and the City Council, and the subsequent production of a masterplan. The masterplan took the form of a five year 'Development Framework' for the delivery of a totally renewed campus, identifying a series of projects through which to achieve the strategic priorities.
