Dundrum masterplan commences
We have been appointed by Hammerson as the masterplan architect for phase two of the re-development of Dundrum town centre. Plans are being formed for a new mixed use development on a six-acre site beside the existing shopping centre. The scheme will include retail and leisure elements as well as a potential mix of commercial and residential units. The development will reinforce Dundrum’s status as a retail and leisure destination of European significance.
We have worked closely with Hammerson in recent years to plan and deliver a number of high profile retail and leisure schemes, including the transformation of the failing Monument Mall in Newcastle city centre into one of the city’s most sought-after retail locations.
Currently work continues on plans to regenerate Bishopsgate Goodsyard, a ten acre former rail depot in Shoreditch, London, for which we are the retail strategist and executive masterplanners. We are also developing comprehensive masterplans for the long term extension of Silverburn town centre and shopping mall in Glasgow and the multi-million pound regeneration of the heart of Bristol city centre’s shopping quarter.
This work continues to build on our reputation for developing some of the most successful leisure destinations in Europe. This includes our three Xscape snowsport centres; Chill Factore, the UK’s largest indoor real snow facility and Carre de Soie retail and leisure destination in Lyon, France.
